I am so excited to own this new domain name! I have created a Stewards of Children department at Valley Cloth Diaper Company, and you can now use this easy to remember address to see more information about how Valley Cloth Diaper Company is working with Darkness to Light to train individuals/parents, professionals and organizations to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. If you know the farm at all, you know that we have a lot of different and diverse things happening... it can be a bit overwhelming sometimes :) So, I'm happy to be able to clarify how and where the Stewards of Children training fits into the farm. Valley Cloth Diaper Company will be hosting a monthly workshop that is open to individuals/parents, professionals and representatives from child-serving organizations. This monthly workshop will be held right here on the farm in The Coop at 945 Church St. Port Williams. You can register online and you may complete payment using a credit card or paypal account, or you can send a cheque to Valley Cloth Diaper Company at the farm address. The upcoming dates are:
***August 11, 2011: 6-9 pm ***PWYW ***August 13, 2011: 9:30 am- 12:30 pm ***PWYW September 8, 2011: 6-9 pm October 13, 2011: 6-9 pm November 10, 2011: 6-9 pm December 8, 2011: 6-9 pm The early bird registration cost is $40.00 (plus tax) (more than 14 days before training date). It is $45.00 (plus tax) within 14 days of the training.
I am also available to do staff or private group training.
